URSULA WILLIAMS
Co-founder/ Head of Partnerships
Ursula Williams is an innovative and experienced Production Executive with a proven track record of orchestrating and leading creative teams to deliver exceptional results in the design, development and execution of some of the most transformative brand projects.
Ursula hails from The Bronx, New York and graduated from Howard University. After graduation she began her career at Spike Lee’s 40 Acres and a Mule Filmworks, Inc. While there she learned every aspect of filmmaking: from reading scripts to overall production.
During her tenure, she coordinated Lee’s 40 Acres Filmmaker’s Institute, an outreach program that enabled neighborhood children to learn about the filmmaking business from industry heavyweights like Martin Scorsese, John Singleton and Robert De Niro. It was this experience that helped foster the idea for Media Arts Project.
